ca. 1½ miles east of Main Street in Cottonwood, at ca. 3450 feet elevation.

Fresh flower and withered flowers in the morning.

Note how the pistil of the unwithered flower has coiled, even while the stamens
remain fully exserted.  Compare with the images above, all of which were
taken in the evening.
