It is unclear if the name Corispermum nitidum has any validity in Arizona. USDA shows this introduced species as known only from New York state, with the name misapplied elsewhere in lieu of the valid name C. a. var. rydbergii. McD uses both C. hyssopifolium and C. nitidum and has the latter ranging throughout the region at 3300-7000 feet.
