
Cupressus arizonica. ARIZONA CYPRESS. Tree. Coconino and Yavapai counties, especially in Oak Creek and Verde River canyons, at 3000-7000 feet [McD]. Northern Gila County between Payson and Pine at ca. 4500-5000 feet [LD].
~Juniperus californica. CALIFORNIA JUNIPER. Shrub or small tree. Mohave County. McD notes that specimens identified as this species in the Museum of Northern Arizona Herbarium might be Juniperus osteosperma [McD].
Juniperus coahuilensis. ROSEBERRY JUNIPER. REDBERRY JUNIPER. Shrub or tree. Boynton Canyon, Yavapai County, and probably widespread elsewhere below Mogollon Rim [ML].
Juniperus communis var. depressa (=Juniperus communis var. saxatilis). COMMON JUNIPER. DWARF JUNIPER. Low shrub. Apache and Coconino counties above 7000 feet [McD]. North Rim at 7400-8900 feet (Coconino County) [PP&B].
Juniperus deppeana. ALLIGATOR JUNIPER. Tree or shrub. Navajo, Coconino and Yavapai counties at 4500-8000 feet [McD]. West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon of Coconino County [DP-21(1)].
Juniperus monosperma. ONE-SEED JUNIPER. Shrub or small tree. Throughout region at 3000-7000 feet [McD]. Reported sporadically from Inner Gorge; Havasu Canyon, Inner Canyon; and Boysag Point, western North Rim; 1200-5500 feet (Mohave and Coconino counties) [PP&B].
Juniperus osteosperma. UTAH JUNIPER. Tree. Throughout region at 3000-7500 feet [McD]. Common at north end of Northern Hualapai Mountains, Mohave County [JANAS-24/25]. North and South rims, Inner Canyon woodlands from the rim to the top of the Redwall; occasional at lower elevations; 1200-7800 feet (Coconino County) [PP&B].
Juniperus scopulorum. ROCKY MOUNTAIN JUNIPER. Shrub or tree. Throughout region at 3200-9000 feet [McD]. West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon of Coconino County [DP-21(1)]. Along the edge of the North Rim; reported from east of Bright Angel Point and Kaibab Trail, North Rim; at base of Redwall on Kaibab Trail and in Havasu Canyon, Inner Canyon; 3200-8500 feet (Coconino County) [PP&B].
