Pteridium aquilinum var. pubescens.  WESTERN BRACKEN.  HAIRY BRACKENFERN.  BRACKEN FERN.  Perennial.  Kaibab Plateau (Coconino County) and Lukachukai Mountains (Apache County) south [K&P].  Grand Canyon National Park: North Rim, 8000-9000 feet [PP&B].  Near Flagstaff at southwest base of Mt. Elden [LD].  West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon of Coconino County [DP-21(1)].
