NAZ Flora: A Photographic, Annotated Catalog of Northern Arizona Vascular Plants, published by Mindbird Maps & Books

Dicots

Index to Families of Dicots
(Angiosperms: Dicotyledons)

Flowering plants with two seed leaves
Also characteristic of this group are net-veined leaves (instead of parallel-veined) and flowers with parts usually in multiples of four or five (or numerous).

This is the largest group of vascular plants.

The dicot section is complete, in first draft.  It includes all of the taxa listed in McDougall, Seed Plants of Northern Arizona plus several other sources.  Additional taxa will be added to many families in ongoing drafts, as the review of additional references progresses.
