Quercus arizonica.  ARIZONA WHITE OAK.  Large shrub or tree.  Yavapai, southern Coconino, and extreme southern Apache counties, up to about 7500 feet [McD].


Quercus chrysolepis.  CANYON LIVE OAK.  Tree.  Mohave, Yavapai, and Coconino counties, up to about 7500 feet [McD].


Quercus dunnii.  PALMER OAK.  Shrub or tree.  Mohave, Yavapai, and Coconino counties, 3500-6000 feet [McD].


Quercus emoryi.  EMORY OAK.  Shrub or sometimes a tree.  Yavapai and southern Coconino counties, 3000-8000 feet [McD].



Quercus gambelii.  GAMBEL OAK.  Shrub or tree.  Throughout region at 5000-8000 feet [McD].


Quercus grisea.  GRAY OAK.  Tree.  White Mountains of Apache County, mostly at ca. 5000-6200 feet [McD].


Quercus oblongifolia.  MEXICAN BLUE OAK.  Tree.  Reported from Mohave County up to 6000 feet [McD].


Quercus x pauciloba (=Quercus undulata, a hybrid of Quercus gambelii and Q. turbinella).  WAVYLEAF OAK.  Shrub.  Mohave, Yavapai, Coconino, and Navajo counties, 4500-6000 feet [McD].


Quercus rugosa (=Quercus reticulata).  Shrub or tree.  Yavapai, Coconino, and Navajo counties, 4000-6000 feet [McD].


Quercus turbinella.  SHRUB LIVE OAK.  SONORAN SCRUB OAK.  Throughout region at up to 8000 feet, but usually lower [McD].
