Juncus acuminatus.  TAPERTIP RUSH.  Perennial.  Reported in southern Navajo County, at ca. 7000 feet [McD].


Juncus acutus ssp. leopoldii (=Juncus acutus var. sphaerocarpus).  LEOPOLD'S RUSH.  Perennial.  Found or reported in Mohave, Yavapai, and Coconino counties [McD].


Juncus articulatus.  JOINTLEAF RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in southwestern Yavapai and southern Navajo counties, 3500-5000 feet [McD].


Juncus balticus var. montanus.  WIRE RUSH.  MOUNTAIN RUSH.  Perennial.  Throughout region, 3500-9500 feet [McD].


Juncus bufonius.  TOAD RUSH.  Annual.  Found throughout region, mostly below 3000 feet but sometimes at 5000 feet or higher [McD].


Juncus bufonius var. occidentalis (=Juncus sphaerocarpus misapplied).  TOAD RUSH.  Annual.  Reported in Yavapai and Coconino counties, at 4000-7000 feet [McD].


Juncus confusus.  COLORADO RUSH.  Perennial.  Reported on the Kaibab Plateau and the north wall of Grand Canyon in Coconino County, at ca. 8000 feet [McD].


~Juncus cooperi.  COOPER'S RUSH.  Perennial.  Not known from northern Arizona, but since it occurs in nearby in California, southern Nevada, and southern Utah, it should be looked for [McD].


Juncus drummondii.  DRUMMOND'S RUSH.  Perennial.  Found on San Francisco Mountain, Coconino County, at 11,500 feet [McD].


Juncus effusus var. brunneus.  LAMP RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in southern Coconino County at ca. 7500 feet [McD].


Juncus interior.  INLAND RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in Yavapai, Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties, mostly between 4000-9000 feet [McD].


Juncus longistylis.  LONGSTYLE RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in Yavapai, Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties, mostly between 4500-9500 feet [McD].


Juncus macrophyllus.  LONGLEAF RUSH.  Perennial.  Reported in Yavapai County below 5500 feet [McD].


Juncus mertensianus.  MERTENS' RUSH.  Perennial.  Reported from the Kaibab Plateau and the North Rim of Grand Canyon, Coconino County, 8500-9000 feet [McD].


Juncus mexicanus.  MEXICAN RUSH.  Perennial.  Yavapai, Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties, at 4000-7000 feet [McD].


Juncus nevadensis var. badius (=Juncus badius).  SIERRA RUSH.  Perennial.  Found or reported in Coconino and Apache counties at 6500-10,000 feet [McD].


~Juncus nodosus.  KNOTTED RUSH.  Perennial.  Not yet known from the region, but occurs in neighboring states to the west, north, and east, so should be expected [McD].


Juncus saximontanus.  ROCKY MOUNTAIN RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in Yavapai, Coconino, and Apache counties, 4000-9500 feet [McD, who also states that forma brunescens, an entity not listed in USDA PLANTS, is more common and occurs throughout region].


Juncus tenuis.  POVERTY RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in Yavapai and Coconino counties, 3500-6500 feet [McD].


Juncus torreyi.  TORREY'S RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in Mohave, Yavapai, Coconino, and Navajo counties, up to about 7500 feet [McD].


Juncus tracyi.  TRACY'S RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in Coconino and Apache counties, 4700-8000 feet [McD].


Juncus xiphioides.  IRISLEAF RUSH.  Perennial.  Found in Yavapai County at 3500 feet or higher [McD].
