Southern California Wildflowers is an extensive photo site by Michael L. Charters.  It is organized to be of use both by beginners and the more experienced botanist, containing an index by common name, family, and scientific name.  The quality of the images is generally very good to excellent, and are of moderate size such that the site does not take too long to download if one has a dialup internet connection.  Also gives habitat, blooming period, and Latin name derivations.  Many southern California plants are also found in adjacent parts of northern Arizona.

Southwest Colorado Wildflowers, Ferns, & Trees is a well researched photographic guide to wild plants of the Four Corners region of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico, put together by Al Schneider.  It contains excellent images, and most species are covered by more than one image.  Includes identification tips which are helpful for both the experienced and the beginning botanist.  The wildflowers are arranged in color groups for easier identification of unknown species.
