Eucnide urens.  DESERT STINGBUSH.  Shrub.  Along the Colorado River in Grand Canyon, Mohave and Coconino counties, 1000-2500 feet [McD].


Mentzelia albicaulis.  WESTERN BLAZINGSTAR.  Annual.  Throughout region at elevations below 6000 feet [McD].


Mentzelia nitens.  SHINING BLAZINGSTAR.  Annual or perennial.  Mohave and southern Yavapai counties; reported from White Mountains in Apache County; 4000 feet or lower [McD].


Mentzelia nuda var. stricta.  BRACTLESS BLAZINGSTAR.  Biennial or perennial.  Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties, 6000-8500 feet [McD].


Mentzelia oreophila (=Mentzelia puberula).  ARGUS BLAZINGSTAR.  Perennial.  Reported from Detrital Wash, Mohave County, and from Havasu Canyon in Coconino County, 1000-2000 feet [McD].


Mentzelia pumila.  Biennial.  DWARF MENTZELIA.  Biennial.  Throughout region at 2000-8000 feet [McD].


Mentzelia rusbyi (=Mentzelia nuda var. rusbyi).  RUSBY'S BLAZINGSTAR.  Biennial to perennial.  Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties, 6000-8500 feet [McD].


Mentzelia tricuspis.  SPINYHAIR BLAZINGSTAR.  Annual.  Western Mohave County, at 2000 feet or lower [McD].


Mentzelia veatchiana.  VEATCH'S BLAZINGSTAR.  Annual.  Mohave and Apache counties, probably more widespread [McD].


Petalonyx nitidus.  SHINYLEAF SANDPAPER PLANT.  Shrub.  Reported from Yucca, Mohave County, at ca. 2000 feet [McD].


Petalonyx parryi.  PARRY'S SANDPAPER PLANT.  Shrub.  Northern Mohave and western Coconino counties, up to 3000 feet but usually lower [McD].


Petalonyx thurberi.  THURBER'S SANDPAPER PLANT.  Subshrub.  Mohave County, up to 5000 feet, usually below 4000 feet [McD].
