Flowering habit of Nama demissum, southwest of Kingman, Arizona.

Habit, in bloom.
In favorable conditions, this annual forms a mat of flowering stems; but in other times,
the plants do not develop much beyond the single-flowered form seen here.

Mohave County: On BLM lands on eastern slopes of Sacramento Valley, ca. 4 miles
southwest of downtown Kingman, at ca. 2,900 feet elevation.
