Hierochloe sp. (=Hierochloe odorata misapplied?).  SWEETGRASS.  Perennial.  It is unclear what the correct name of this taxon is, which is listed as H. odorata in McDougall.  PLANTS database shows the US range of H. odorata as confined to the northeastern states; the name has also been used for an Hierochloe which PLANTS calls Hierochloe alpina ssp. alpina, but which it also indicates as restricted to Alaska.  Whatever its correct name, it is reproted from Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties at 7000 feet and higher [McD].
