Potamogeton foliosus ssp. foliosus. LEAFY PONDWEED. Aquatic perennial. Reported from Mohave and Coconino counties [McD]; FNA range map shows it distributed through all but far western Arizona, so should be looked for in additional northern Arizona counties [FNA-22].
Potamogeton gramineus (=Potamogeton gramineus var. maximus). Aquatic perennial. Found in Yavapai, Coconino, and Apache counties, 3200 feet or higher [McD].
Potamogeton natans. FLOATING-LEAF PONDWEED. Aquatic perennial. Reported from Coconino and Apache counties, 8500-9000 feet [McD].
Potamogeton nodosus. LONG-LEAF PONDWEED. Aquatic perennial. Found in Yavapai, Coconino, and Navajo counties, 1500-8000 feet [McD].
Potamogeton pusillus. Aquatic perennial. Found on San Francisco Mountain in Coconino County, and in the Lukachukai Mountains in Apache County [McD].
Potamogeton pusillus ssp. tenuissimus. Aquatic perennial. FNA range map shows a population of this taxa in the center of northern Arizona [FNA-22].
Potamogeton richardsonii. Aquatic perennial. Found in Wheatfield Lake in Apache County at ca. 7500 feet [McD].
~Stuckenia filiformis ssp. alpina THREADLEAF-PONDWEED. Aquatic perennial. FNA range map shows this in extreme northern part of the state [FNA-22].
Stuckenia pectinata (=Potamogeton pectinatus). SAGO-PONDWEED. Aquatic perennial. Found in Mohave, Yavapai, Coconino, and Apache counties, ca. 3500-6000 feet [McD].
