Cattail Family

Typha domingensis.  SOUTHERN CATTAIL.  Perennial.  Mohave, Yavapai, Coconino, and Navajo counties, 1000-5500 feet [McD]; extreme northwest corner of Mohave, northern Coconino, much of Yavapai, north-central Gila, and northern Navajo counties [JANAS-33(1)].


Typha latifolia.  BROAD-LEAVED CATTAIL.  COMMON CATTAIL.  Perennial.  Throughout region at 3500-7500 feet [McD]; central Yavapai, southern Coconino, southern Navajo and southern Apache counties [JANAS-33(1)].
