Banana Yucca

Habit of Yucca baccata, Coconino National Forest.

Habit and habitat, with flowers of inflorescence past bloom.

Coconino National Forest: Near Lower Oldham Trail,
southwest of Mt. Elden, at ca. 7300 feet elevation.

Though succulent and with sharp-pointed leaves, Yucca are quite unrelated to cacti.
